Post Secondary Cat Delete Questions

Hey guys and gals, first time posting on Camaro 5 so apologizes if I do not do something right! Anyway, I have a 2010 2SS with Borla Atak Mufflers, X Pipe in place of resonator and a K&N Cold Air Intake. I love the way the exhaust sounds but I want a little more volume. I was thinking about ordering a Catted Downpipe which would remove my secondary cats and add just 2 high flow ones. Problem is, I live in California, the strictest state for emissions. I would have to purchase the downpipe for $475, have it installed for $150, and who knows the price of shipping that heavy ass package to California because I have to ship it elsewhere and have it shipped here. The other option, I spoke to my exhaust guy, he said I could just do a simple secondary cat delete. He said there should be no issues with a CEL as the O2 sensor is on the primary cats. He quoted me $150 for the secondary cat removal. What do you guys think? Give me stuff on how you guys think it will sound, or any issues that you guys could see. Thanks guys!
