Unhappy spare donut ?

Does anyone know if you can put a 19" spare in the trunk over the battery on the 2LT ???? I make a trip accross the country to Arizona from NY for the winter and don't like the idea of using the air-inflator cause it won't do for 125 mile stops between service stations. What a problem !!!!

Check with your dealer.

The LT should have a spare tire. My dealership told me that you should pay attention to the Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) and when you notice a difference in pressure it should be the yellow flag, otherwise trust your tires.

I don't think it will even fit through the trunk opening. You might have to put it in the trunk through the back seat.

Well yesterday was my first trip 156 miles back and forth to connecticut from New York with the camaro that had 63 miles on it since I bought it and after like 100 miles the TPMS yellow light came on. I stopped check the tires, looked fine. Continued driving like 10 miles later the light went off. I hate idiot computerized systems. Thanks GM for another useless light. Should have put a light in the glove compartment instead or better yet lighted interior mirrors, my old 2003 eclipse has both of them. I think GM should pay more attention to what people use than what they think we need.
