Navigation Updates No More... What Next?

What is everybody doing with their in-dash navigation systems now that they stopped releasing updates for them or at least for the 2013?

I have a 2013 ZL1 where the last available update for the maps was 2017. Are you having the whole unit replaced with something else or just out of luck?

My update has been sitting on the desk for two years, imagine I will get to it someday, but don’t really care about it. More focused on maintaining and enjoying the car for spirited driving.

Same here. I have a nice Pioneer head unit ready to go in...maybe this spring.

I do not use it after it took me about 15 miles another direction than what I programmed into it. I use my phone now on the google maps and directions and blue tooth it so I can hear the directions better. I do not even use the navigation in my new truck either. I think whoever programs those disc does it on purpose to screw with the owner of the vehicle to run us all over the place just to get us mad! LOL!

That's fair. I was just curious as it's hard to stick any other nav system on the dash, or have my phone hanging from a vent mount especially in the summer when it's 120. Just falls right off.

At the turn of the century I ran all over AZ on two wheels for nearly a decade. With the exception of Pheonix itself, I can't see the need for nav assistance. 15 minutes out of most communities is almost a private track. Weekends excluded.

I didn't order nav. I didn't want to pay the price, and my phone nav works like a champ. I may never order this if it remains an option.

I use my iPhone to nav anywhere I need to go in everything but the expedition... and come to think of it, with CarPlay I'm basically using the iPhone then as well. Navigation updates are.... out of date
