My turbo install- it finally runs.
It's been awhile but the car is running. It still needs a tune which I'll get this coming week. I took a short video. Sorry but it was windy AF today. Recap of mods. It's a L99 with a Huron speed single turbo kit. VSracing 7875 gen1, Summit stage 2 turbo cam with the supporting BTR valvetrain for the LS3 conversion. Exhaust is the 3 inch DP to unk brand X pipe with no resonators or mufflers from previous muffler delete. I did the rear suspension with BMR parts, cradle bushings and ZL1 pump and BAP before the turbo. So far all sounds good and no issues. I'm excited to get it tuned and drive it. I havent driven this car since early last summer when all the install was started!

Oh man, she's gonna be a beast! My god, I couldn't imagine having a big spinnyboy bolted to my 6.2
Just curious, have the rings already been gapped a bit more or are you just going to keep the boost at a safer low level? What are your power goals with this setup?

Glad to see you finally got it running. You'll probably be happy at nine or ten pounds boost. I think it would be more streetable at that level.

If on 93, I think you can go a bit past that with a 1050 injector. Could be wrong though

I'm using 1000 cc FIC injectors and on 91 octane. I'll prob throw the SMG aux pump on there to be safe.

Sounds great man!! She's gonna be a beast for sure!! Good luck and let us now how it goes. Like InFiD3ViL said, I too couldn't imagine a turbo of SC setup on MY beast, it would be awesome no doubt!! Enjoy.

I’m a manual and at 8 lbs of boost, 650rwhp , 1000cc injectors, running ZL1 pump and a JMS booster. No fuel pressure issues and injectors are at 60% duty cycle. With an auto you may be pushing it it should be do able.
