Sold the 1LE
Looks like I sold my 14 1LE and it will be picked up on Monday the 22nd. It was hard as hell to let her go ,and I know I will miss her. I am regretting selling it already. A guy named Doug in Oregon bought it off the add I posted here on Camaro 5.

Moving to cold country ,so it isn't going to be practical in the ice and snow .If you have ever spent a summer in the valley here in Phoenix ,you would understand the move. Crazy, stupid Hot doesn't ever begin to explain the heat here in the summer .

I have a buddy who lives just outside of Bizbee (sp) and I regular hear just how hot it can be. I’ll take the snow over ridiculous heat.

Glad you were able to sell it. Very nice car. Just a heads up, we snowbound northern own camaros as well. We get to drive them all of 3-4 months and longer if you get a nice set of all weather performance tires.

It gets pretty hot here (triple digits) in the summer time with almost %100 humidity but I would trade it for snow. Just not my cup of tea.

Ira has been awesome to work with and thankful that he’s held the beautiful car for me until Monday when my family and I get down there for spring break. I am beyond excited for the car. I’ve wanted one since the 14’ body style came out, and especially a 1LE. Thankfully my wife has approved as she knows how much I love camaros. After years of owning 2nd gens with my father, primarily 70 Z28s, I’ve been waiting for the time to buy a 1LE. Thank you Ira for taking care of the beautiful car, it will be in good hands. And if you’re ever in Oregon and want to go for a ride, door is always open! See you soon, can’t wait!!!

They are an underappreciated car and I like it that way. The suspension, brakes and one of the best powertrains in the LS3 and a 6-speed TR6060.
Great car that isn't a WiFi hotspot, rats on you to the cops or pulls the steering wheel out of your hands. Last of the GM V8's that doesn't shut down cylinders. Enjoy your car, you made a great choice. |
