I asked this question in wheels and tires forum and got no replies . Maybe better luck here .I have an appt. tomorrow to get Michelin Pilot A/S 3 tires installed . I get a call from Discount and they tell me that the rear tire size is not available . They offer to install a slightly more expensive Pilot A/S 3 "5 RIB" on the rear . In doing a little research on these , only difference is V rating instead of Y like the fronts are . Is this something I should be concerned about ? I don't plan on tracking the car or drag racing . I just want a decent riding tire with some reasonable performance ability and tread longevity . Thanks for your opinions !!!

V rating is up to 149 MPH, Y is 186 MPH.

Had to recalibrate my Vitesse Throttle Controller. I have a Ninety Degree left turn on my way home from work, which I enjoy taking rather.. spirited.. and 2 days in a row going through that corner has caused my car to kick into Limp Mode.

I don't plan on drag racing or tracking the car , but don't we all have a little spirited fun while driving our cars ?

Went up and picked her up from the shop after having some engine PM done, been there for 6 days!!! We had a nice spirited drive home to say the least!! lol. What a fun ride home.. Then she got a spa treatment and now resting quietly.. lol.

Got the new tires on . So far so good . Seem to be balanced fairly well . We'll see after they settle in a bit .

Got the Powerstop brake kit I ordered . Not sure when install will happen though . Still waiting on the caliper bracket bolts to get here .

installed BMR lowering springs and realized how old I am getting up and down off the floor.
I will clean her up on Sunday. It was a good day!!!

Installed the 4-gauge cluster in my 1ss. Bought the cluster on Ebay and a harness from Phastek on Wednesday. Post office delivered them today. When I finished mowing the yard, I installed them in about 20 minutes. Really like the look.
