Pickup tube seated but pump wont move

I have my oil pickup tube fully seated with the improved racing brace installed as well, however, i cant get my pump to move to the bolt holes, anyone been in a similar predicament. Maybe the pickup got slightly bent when you took it apart or put back together? If you have the pickup seated properly, i would draw it down with the bolts. Tube should bend very easy. Mine did

Not sure why your pickup tube seems to extend out, but it's a good idea to align your pump to the crankshaft. I aligned mine then torqued the mounting bolts, then I installed the tube using plenty of lube on the oring and pump.
