cut out template
10 new screws from GM
5 new nut inserts from GM

Yes, no programming needed that I'm aware of. There are many threads on here about it and directions about the swap.

Is there anything else needed to complete the install in a 2010 2ss/rs m6?

From what I have found, hud or non hud windshield makes almost no difference. You can search posts about it on here with comparisons I believe.

Why not a 2013?

Will this not work in a 2013 2ss/rs m6?

It should work on both of those cars. I'm not an expert however so please double check. Mine was a 2010 2ss/rs m6 so I don't know any differences those would have.
