back handers. whoever gives the biggest backhander gets the best reviews.
i used to be an audiophile. never did i bring home something highly rated that was any good. all back handers to big the product up. our cars are sensational in everyway possible. bad gas milage lol? i'm getting close to 30 mpg from mine. i find that incredible from a v8

6th gen Camaro is an amazing car. The interior is world class. Gas mileage is ****ing amazing; I averaged 30.2 MPG in my 2SS doing 75mph on a trip recently. Electric cars are over-rated in every way, are worse for the environment, and have very real and severe drawbacks. As for visibility, the Camaro is no worse than most cars on the road today. In fact most SUV's have worse visibility especially towards the back because the B and C pillars are so enormous. |

all this bad visibilty crap i have never understood.
i've driven about 3 million miles. i would know if visibilty is was bad. just something for those pos s550 mustang owners to say. for what our cars cost there is nothing made today i would change mine for. not even for a 100k car. the only 2 cars i would change my camaro for is a gen6 zl1 or a porsche gt3 rs.

I mean, if you are not efficient at using your mirrors maybe a sport car is not what you should be driving. Most all these cars have blind spot detection, the newer ones have the panoramic rearview mirrors. |

It's a bunch of

The comparatively small interior and visibility issues are real and are far and away the primary reason that the Camaro lags the competition in sales. I get it that most everyone here doesn't care about these issues, hell, I don't either but I don't pretend that they don't exist.

Visibility has been discussed here endlessly. It takes a day or so to get used to. I don't even think about it.

I think the main problem with the comments you are seeing is they aren’t true enthusiasts. As a car enthusiast I want a car that was built from the ground up to go fast. Everything else can be compromised except for performance. This is why you’ll never catch me in a car like a wrx or focus RS. Those kinds of cars are built on economy car platforms that’s why they have great visibility and usability however they will never look as cool because they are missing the classic sports car lines. I would bet a lot of the people commenting like those types of cars.
Now having said all of that I did experience my first issue with its visibility issues after a year and a half of owning my 6th gen SS. I was at a 2 way stop sign and the cross traffic was sorta heavy. I literally could not see the traffic coming from my right. The reason being my car was at an angle (it had to be). I literally crossed the intersection once my left which I could see very clearly was clear and slowly made my way across until I could see the right Was clear. Now I’ll admit this was an anomaly as there aren’t that many 2 way stop signs where you are at an angle but if my sixth gen was my only car and I had to travel that route everyday, I would probably have to go a longer way. One other annoyance about the car is the space between the pillar and drivers seat is so small (seat is almost all the way forward with the back mostly all the way back) that I can’t fit my laptop bag through that space without moving the seat. It fit in my mustang. A minor annoyance but I’m just surprised at how unpractical this car can be sometimes. If I didn’t have two cars though I do believe I still would put up with it. |
