It's ironic that GM and Chevy have announced the passenger sedan segment is dead and unwanted, yet if the Camaro had those same sedan qualities it would supposedly sell better...lol

fact: The Camaro has limited visibility, much like every gen before it.
also fact: They are not deal-breaking and can be managed, much like every gen before it. There's no reason for anyone to get their panties in a bunch over it.

It's not that bad. Prefer the 8 though. Wouldn't mind adding a T4 1LE along side the SS.

Well, you're right in general, but in this particular case, birds of a feather

somehow i will get over that.im happy with the car i bought.the odd thing is he doesnt actually drive any faster than i do...so whats the point?i did see something interesting online that would better utilize our limited trunk space.from 1949 to 1953 the kaiser cars had a divided trunk opening.the top side opens as a conventional trunk, and the bottom opens as a station wagon tailgate would.sure,it would cost GM probably 100 bucks per car for the extra hinges, latch, and weatherstripping but it would really increase the usability of our trunk.BTW...are you a midget too?

Im not going to quote all the posts Im referring to but.....
The 1970 link to Mecum.. Yes all day. The small block Vetts I hd were all better handling cars than the big block. The big block was a cruizer. Did sound good. As for visibility... being hard to DD and short people.... Our 2ss Vert M6 is my 5'2" wifes daily driver. Shes 56.... weighs about 120... anyone having a problem driving these cars should probably own something more sensible. As for value. In this price range are a ton of kind of desirable vehicles... Jeeps, some kind of desirable smaller 4x4 SUVs... the other muscle cars. and really a whole disturbing amount of totally unacceptable garbage. 4 cylinder sedans and SUVs. A few BMWs I would never trade the SS for.... Its not like the Camaro is high priced in the current market when compared to all the vehicles that would make my list of potential buys. In fact its near the top in desirability. Closer to the lower end of cost of anything Im willing to buy. Not to say inexpensive. Only drag is we still have a few years left in Jersey and an all wheel drive is good a few days a year. We have another car to drive when its crappy and we did not drive the Camaro on any salt. We bought the last day of December. A July build vert. I know the valve spring thing. But its not just the Camaros. We got a great deal before all this chip craziness. 6 months and 2,000 miles in were loving it. It sounds like its worth as much as we paid still. The wife wanted a vert for decades. Shes using it constantly. So far its one of the most satisfying cars Ive ever owned. Any hate coming at the Camaro is BS. By the way weve gone shopping at Costco twice with it. Just cant put the top down. Using the front part of the runk allows for a lot of groceries... and a pack of TP and one of paper towels rode in the back seat. But this is from a guy that does a lot of the shopping on a Harley so I gues Im used to the room. If we really need STUFF well take the F-250.

Height is not why people have visibility issues. It’s strictly because they never learned how to adjust their mirrors properly. In cars that are easier to see out of it’s not really a big deal if they aren’t adjusted 100% correctly. In this car they do need to be adjusted spot on in order for you to see of it properly.

So you wouldn't take an 1969 427 Stingray L88 versus a small block?? |
