2014 here. Its kept in the garage and 8k miles. No issues with the paint.

I have a 2011 synergy green 135k,and is parked outside,no issues with the paint at all,other than the rock chips and can’t blame that on them.

Good catch 1JEWLDSSRS. It's possible. Would have just been a good straight up topic just to ask the forum members about how their paint is holding up.

I was thinking the same thing this morning when I read this thread. I’d bet a buck it’s spam. Normally I report them when I see them I didn’t have time then.

Has your car sat outside in the sun? How often do you wax the car and the roof? If your answer is very little to no wax and paint care, then that is your answer. Ultra violet sun exposure is the main cause of clearcoat failure. This is when you see cracking and failure of paint due to exposure. This is why detailing is important; Much more important than many people realize. A car should be thoroughly detailed at least once a year.

Crazy, I did a number on my paint today. I wiped the paint w an alcohol soaked rag to get to tree sap off, buffed out the swirls, and ceramic wax coated the paint. I have 148,000 miles and live in Los Angeles. My car is mostly parked outside dealing with temperatures of 102 today. I have not had any paint crack.

I'm interested to hear about how you've been taking care of your paint. What's your washing and waxing procedure?

2013 and can't tell the paint from new. Garaged and detailed carefully and regularly though.
