Recently deleted dod on twin turbo A6 SS. Used oem parts for replacements (L9H cam). Drove the car for a couple of weeks and after a bit of hard driving noticed a chirp,chirp, chirp coming from the engine. Checked the oil and had to add like 2.5 qts. Since this happened car has been harder to crank, and occasionally throws the service stabilitrack CEL. like the battery went bad.. but the battery is good. Do these cars have oil level sensors? How bad is 2.5 qts low? What would normally fail first from low oil level? I feel like it is something in the valve train, honestly.. so I’ll start trying to run down the issue this weekend.. but any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

2.5 quarts is %30 of your total oil capacity. Its really really really low.

If you turbos are oil cooled, you would have needed to add oil...

The chirping sound is probably damage to a cam lobe and lifter.

Chirp can be lifter roller seized or damaged and wear on cam now. Sometimes you can get a chirp from the front crank seal. If you drove hard 2.5qts low it is a little concerning.
