Lately I've been getting frequent CELs in my 2010 SS M6. The codes seem to alternate between P0442 and P0451 (EVAP related). I've replaced the easy parts (Vapor Canister Purge Valve / Solenoid and the Gas Cap). But I hesitate to dive into the harder to install parts (Vapor Canister Vent Valve / Solenoid and Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor).
it may be my imagination, but it seems to me that the car has less power after the CEL illuminates with these codes. Does the car default to the low octane fuel map when the codes are thrown?
Any information or help with resolving my issue would be appreciated.
