I think I need to adjust my "agreed value" insurance. Others may want to do the same.

Thanks for the reminder. My agreed value is $50k. Just did the Edmunds appraisal. Value between "Rough and "Oustanding" is $56k-$70k for a 2015 with 21k miles.

The Edmunds appraisal is far above other appraisers such as Kelly blue book and Car max. I'm not sure I would trust Edmunds numbers.

Update: I sold my 2015 with 4600 miles on it to a dealer in the Chicago area in June. I sold it for $62K, they listed it for about $65K, and it is now available for $59,9000.

Very interesting. When you got $62K I was very surprised. Looks like the dealer was just a bit optimistic. Good for you great value. The most I was offered by a dealer for my black 14,000 mile Z was $50,000. I told him I would take $52,500 but He wouldn't budge so I kept it. Now it is just sitting in the garage.

One week ago, I was offered 51K from local Carmax--in person. My car is definitely not perfect and it needs some cosmetics. 9650 miles. I gave it a quick wash after the last track day and drove it over. Still had the track stickers on the windshield and rubber all over it. It has Girodisc steel brakes. They obviously wanted the car.
(BTW, I was contemplating an aircraft purchase and needed to liquidate quickly. That plane was sold before I could get to it) Oh, and my car is not for sale at this time.

Wondering what my 2,700 mile Black 2015 with A/C is worth. It is one of the last dozen built.

right now a number of sub 2,000 miles cars asking between $65k - $72K. Then a few between 2k and 3k miles for $62k - $65k GLWS if you decide to part with it! |

Are the last few worth more than any others? Is one color worth any other? Are the CTF’s worth more or less or no difference? Is one year more valuable than the other? Are lower mileage worth more than higher mileage no matter the condition? Are non AC or AC worth more? How much do % of subcategories matter much, i.e. non AC or low % of year, color, etc.? I’d stick my neck out on saying the as new low mileage gems without issues are top of the hill along with 2014 #1 CTF and #1 production. But as with everything, something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay and is not worth a penny until it’s sold. I don’t bring this up to trash on you but just to spark opinions. There are a lot of sharp and insightful folks on the forum. Thank you |

My opinion. Mileage always drives value with late model collectors. I think with or w/o AC will have little effect on value, I do think people will look for AC models over non. Color, I’ve seen silver, AGM and red drive a slightly higher price over black and white. No wild swings other than mileage.
VIN#1 cars are on their own, we’ve seen entire collects built on VIN#1 cars. Other than that, no significance. Maybe the very last. Let’s face it, with 1800 cars you’ll struggle to find these cars in 30 years. |

Listed it here, in the classifieds. Has been listed since June this year…and he happen to reach out wondering if it was still for sale.
