Just kidding. I do NEED the hood pins though. Please post some pics to give me an idea which way to go. I like old school, but the flush ones look good…. Also talk about installation…I don’t need to spend three days installing the damn things.

I have Hotchkis functional quick release billet hood pin kit on mine. Here’s the pdf install instructions, I had a shop do mine as drilling into the hood myself gave me far too much anxiety. The cable wasn’t included, I just ordered one online and attached for the aesthetics.

Thanks I appreciate it! I liked them so much I bought them twice lol I installed the first set on my factory hood and then got an aftermarket hood so decided to buy a second set that way I could resell the factory hood with the hood pin kit included instead of just having holes where they used to be.

I was looking to include a photo of that in the original post but apologies my car has been in the shop for over 18 months getting an engine overhaul so the best I can do is zoom into those areas on old photos I took of the bay.. Sorry for poor pic quality and that I can’t just go snap new ones, hope these are helpful!

Lol I wish I knew then what I do now that it’s been such a PITA process and I’m basically a nut job that wanted to do major performance mods (cams, valve springs, injectors, in tank fuel pump, intercooler, supercharger, torque converter, blow off valve, methanol, throttle body +more) to my v6 all at one time so this was a semi self inflicted torture. Covid happened and prolonged the build with parts being delayed in shipment and then I deployed overseas so the shop back burned my project while I was gone. They also dealt with being left to a skeleton crew because some techs relocated elsewhere during the pandemic. *sigh* Now I’m back in the states and they’re getting back on their feet by catching up on a few projects that they fell far behind on but we’re experiencing fueling issues. I talk about it more in my build thread if you’re interested to read more, I don’t want to hijack your thread. Say your prayers for me though it’s been a brutal wait and test of my patience!!
