Questions

Sorry to keep asking so many question.

I've never been to a meet like this and the only tracks I've ever been on have been the local fun for the family go-karting track normally accompanied by a miniature golf setup.

How does the Autocross work? Do a certain amount of cars start and get to go so many laps or minutes at once?...or do you start with 30sec intervals between each cars for one lap?

What style of helmet is recommended for Autocross? I like the helmet below but would an open face helmet be a better choice?

Thanks in advance!

She ain't BSn, my neighbors think I'm nuts. I prefer to wash it after dark because I have no shady area and the water dries too quickly in the sun, leaving spots.

I'll be damned. You been wanting a faster car every since I did my fuse pull. AIN'T happening. At least not a Camaro. CTS, fine CTS-V no way.

If you do, I'm having Junkie do me up a Z06 like his.

SCCA autoX with cones (gymkanas) not a road course track let cars go at intervals. The ones I have done it is usually 2-3 cars on the track at a time, depending on how spread out the track is. They need to reduce the risk of cars hitting one another. I have seen a few times people run out of talent and lose it. I have never seen anyone hit anyone else but it has happened.

I'm not sure if I'm following you. Are you saying that we are going to be driving around cones in a parking lot for this meet?

Works great for washing. I wouldn't wax in the dark but washing and drying are awesome.

That's what autocross is... Don't knock it till you've tried it... It's a ton of fun and very challenging...

and low risk cus if you loose it you don't hit a wall or another car... you can go all out. worst thing is a minor scratch from hitting a cone...

It's a good way to get some road coarse like action in a daily driver with low risk...

And I'm telling you... Once you get that lap time... you will be lined up to beat it over and over it's addicting....

This is what I'm anxious about. I've never done any type of supervised racing (drag, autox, etc) but I'm super excited about autox
