Yes sir, thanks! Yea when the cooling fans started acting up and she was getting hot, 215 sitting in traffic, I knew something was not right. Granted it would drop back down to normal, 174-180 at cruising speed, but stopping she climbed up pretty quick, and knowing what severe over heating can cause, took her in and admitted her and we found all that. I am one for trying to keep on top of all the maintainence so she runs great all the time.

I really don't like things to break and leave me stranded, she hasn't yet thank the Lord! This Camaro has been really good to me so I take good care of her. Lots of money and time devoted to her.
You’ll be back to enjoying the drive in no time. I’m on my 4th 5th gen, both V8 and V6s. Every time I sell one, another follows me home. Combined, I’ve probably got about 100k miles on 5th gens. Knock on wood, they’ve been reliable and fun cars to own. Lots of smiles per mile.

Oh you know it!! Yea I have to agree these cars are really great and reliable AND just a blast to be cruising around in, especially after she has been modded! Lots of smiles in these 124k miles!! She has been a VERY dependable vehicle, that's for sure. Thank the Lord! She would have been done today, but some of the parts didn't make it, so I told my mech just take your time I'm in no hurry. I have a secondary vehicle that is also fun to drive. We're good. Thanks..

What did I do to my Camaro today? I installed a Hurst short throw shifter and I couldn't be more disappointed. Takes two hands and all my strength to get into reverse and second and fourth gears I have slam pretty hard to get them to shift into. Anyone else have problems such as these?

Something must be wrong. Hurst shifters can be notchy, but they shouldn’t be that hard to shift. Was your shifter used? Check your installation over, maybe you missed something.

Installed an ATI super damper and 10% overdrive pulley on the 2014 ZL1 vert. For anyone doing this, the LSA crank is keyed.
Very nice mod, runs smoother and more pep. Much easier than installed than I thought it would be.

I hear by declare the 5th Gen V6 Camaro the easiest vehicle to perform an oil change on. I have yet to work on one easier. The top mounted filter makes me wonder why ALL vehicles weren't designed this way. Performed said operation today, emptied about 1.5 oz from the catch can. Good for another 5K.

I have a hurst short shifter I installed a few years back. Something is definitely not right with yours or an install error. I have ZERO issues getting into any gear. That being said, Im about to swtich to an MGW anyway but yeah, id double check your install.

New Hero tail lights from my wife for Christmas.
I like when she tells me just to get what I want 'cause I'm impossible to buy for.

The previous owner did a terrible Zl1 front bumper conversion so still trying to fix that, but I installed the halo headlights and the Zl1 fog lights, and then did the heritage grille with the SS grille emblem

I love Hurst and will definitely go to my 78 when the conversion to TKO600 takes place.
But in 5 genes, I would choose MGW or Bowler.
Don't be afraid anyway. This is not standard behavior.
Someone had already worked it out, had the same problem, and in the end everything was fine.

Try to find some threads. You will definitely find a solution.
