Post GM's CAI is the same as Cold Air Inductions CAI?

While researching something else, I stumbled upon this.

GM has a CAI for sale and it looks identical to Cold Air Inductions CAI, just without the label and a different color filter.

GM CAI:

Cold Air Inductions:

Based on the price difference, I originally guessed CAI just wholesaled it to GM and GM is just a reseller, which happens all the time but just double checking if CAI knows about this.

Isn’t that for a 6th gen? I believe CAI did work a deal with GM on the 6th gen.

K&N designed the one for the fifth gens, it’s standard on all Z/28s and is the GM performance CAI for the fifth gens.

Interestingly enough, for the 2015 IMSA Continental Tire Series, the Camaro teams were instructed by Chevrolet Racing to switch to CAI, Inc. Stephenson Motorsports won the championship that season.
