2010 SS 20x10 Square Set Up
Ladies, Gents.
I’m due for a new set of wheels on my car. (2010 SS with stock suspension and alignment angles) I’ve always liked to be able to rotate my tires for longevity reasons. I found a set of wheels that I finally like.. they are listed as 20x10 +35 offset. My question is with that offset all around can I run a 285/35ZR20 like the ZL1 fronts or will I have some rubbing issues with the front strut because of the offset. I have the ability to get a +25 offset aswell.. but I’d rather be square all around. I’ve searched and found some conflicting answers. Some poeple are running 275’s all around, some are staggered, some are wider.. i just feel a 285 is the best tire for a 10” wide rim. Thanks!

You should be able to run the 285s but it will be close depending on tire you choose. Some run wide and some dont. I have run the same size and offset in the past but I also run a 4 mm front spacer up front with extended lug nuts installed. But I track my car and I don’t like sidewall flex to rub anything just in case. My pic is of the 285’s mounted for track days and daily use.
Edit: I run 20x10.5” wide rims and the ones you are looking at are 10” rims and they should be no problem.
