Question Repair 6L80

Dear everybody, I need your advice ) I drive 2011 2SS so I suppose that it has 6L80. Mileage is 97.000.

There are delays in switching when driving quietly. Could you please advise.

1) Is torque converter is repairable ? I heard that some mods of them has rivets that can not be found anywhere... Vin number begins with 2G1FK.
2) I found 2 links at Ebay with rebuilt kits. What is more preferable ? Here they are:

The labor involved in repairing a TC is extensive. People that sell
them, or reman'd ones, have tools and machines for taking them
apart to repair them.

Better - Stage 1 Kit:
https://www.raybestospowertrain.com/.../rmcsksg1k-189

Level3:
https://www.circledtrans.com/6l80-le...erformance-kit

Level4:
https://www.circledtrans.com/6l80-le...ce-rebuild-kit

High Performance:
https://suncoastdiesel.com/i-3049970...build-kit.html

Basic (No steel plates):
https://holdvfare.shop/index.php?mai...ducts_id=70088

Valve Body & Other:
https://www.sonnax.com/gm_6L80_6L90

Then, there are the complete rebuilt transmissions...

Get it diagnosed first because it could just be the TEHCM needing a rebuild.

Watch video: https://www.sonnax.com/tech_resource...-transmissions

TEHCM is in bottom of trans and easy to get to.

Basic looks good ) Transmaxx Transmission Rebuild Banner Kit Less Steels 6L80 06-17 for $95.44. I am not racer, just regular driver. Is it really $96 for all parts inside ?

Service center master was driving my car and said that there are delays on 2-3-4 shifts. Its looks like that I have a heavy trailer attached to my car )

Last moth I rebuild my Gen Coupe transmission (ZF 6HP19) and I could buy all 7 solenoids. Here it comes as assembly with a "good" price :(

Do you believe that replacing everything in that ZIP kit helps ?

I am getting intermittent P2762, and P0961. Happened again last night, AFTER
shutting the car off to fill up. Ran it 100+ miles with the harsh engagements...
Got to my destination, shut down to unload, then it was fine...

I was getting them for all the solenoids, but it has settled to just those two now,
and only after going over 80MPH. I had oil leaks, so I never went over 70, and
once I got those oil leaks done, I was ale to race it, and then all those solenoid
failures started. Oil leak was shooting out the plug on the oil pressure sensor,
I can shut the car off, and wait 8 minutes, and then it's fine again.

Then, when those codes set, and the shifting is harsh, I get a P0009, and P000C.

If you don't mind repairing in the USA, find Tim King at TKRacing on Facebook.

He will get your trans repaired correctly!
