Oh it could come to that. I am not having much fun with any of my local dealers. Everything from NON-refundable, big deposits to a total lack of communication or interest in even dealing with me is not helping. I did speak with Joe a few weeks back and he's a super guy and really seems to know whats going here. Of course, the out of state thing is an issue but if this keeps up locally I am very possibly going to reach out to him!

Optionally, you could fly out when the car arrives and road trip it back home. Would put a good set of miles in for that 1500 mile break in period

Road trip is a great idea IMO if you can make it happen. In all honesty, I'd contact Joe sooner than later, he is not immune to these supply chain delays either. Out of state is manageable, I'm sure it's less of a problem when you have a competent and helpful salesman than trying to work with a dealership that doesn't want your business or is simply not up to par.

im pretty surprised that an allocation came pretty quick(in 2 weeks time) the time i went to the dealer - 10/14/21 and when the allocation came around/the car ordred - 10/29/21 i was expecting it to come a lot later in time, but i guess i got lucky

i just spoke to GM and i already have a build date of 11-22-21,damn things are going soo fast

your right man, i cant rewrite my wrongs from the past and we all go through hardships but then again we can look to the future and be fruitful,and im pretty happy that this process is pretty fast for what it is,my bigest concern was that the car will be stuck in the middle of production when the holidays come(week of thanksgiving in my case) the biggest concern is the car being stuck at 4B00 status for god sake(being held at the holding lots without chips) but im really happy that my dream car is on its way

Yes, flying in once I know a date and driving back to MA, 12.5hrs. I've been watching the weather and hoping it hurries up before snow starts flying, LOL.

I know of one other SS that was also paired today and is on it's way to Joe so makes sense to fill the truck all headed in the same direction. So excited!

I’m also coming up! Chevy chat told me expected at dealer 11-10 then today they told me it lands at the holding lot 11-5 and should be at the dealer in 1-2 days after. I am beyond excited and nervous. Feel like a little kid I can’t even eat or sleep. What a journey!
