Brembo pad arrow direction?

Hello all. This is my first time replacing brakes on the camaro. I replaced both rotor and pads with new factory GM rotors and new factory Brembo pads on one side of the front today. I only got one side done because it got too dark.

There weren't any directions in the box but was I correct in assuming that the pads go in with the arrows up on the front pads? I have never done directional pads and all 4 came in the box. I put in both pads on the driver side of the car pointing up with the arrows both the inner and outer pad and the pad surface is touching the rotor which I know is correct but I just want to make sure the direction was correct.
Thanks

Arrows face the direction of the wheel rotation.

I read that yesterday before I put them on and according to that then my placement is sound as the caliper is mounted on the back(right side when looking at front driver side) of the rotor when looking at it and the tire. I am assuming then that if our calipers were mounted on the front driver (left side) of the rotor then the tire would be rotating down so you would point the arrows down then.

If that makes any sense.lol

That was it! Bedded and done. These cars are easy to do brakes on. Only hard part is tightening those new caliper bolts! They are no fun.

Don't see how it's hard to tighten the bolts, or the anchor bolts, I go 80 ft-lbs on all
my cars. Caliper slide pin bolts, 23-25 ft-lbs, and done. I don't do the XXX-degree
turns ever. NEVER had a caliper flip open, and never had an anchor come loose.
Most places just AIR on the parts, and send it. I use average torque specs that I
have seen in all my cars, and they're all about the same...
