dont know where, that is what my sales rep at the dealer told me. i called the rail number and it departed for michigan or departed from michigan on 10-27. but it was cutting out when it said if it was for michigan or from.

i guess i will call it tomorrow or saturday.

Wow - wonder how I missed hearing about that. No matter, I don't like the matte black, and I want my stripes to be like Bumblebee's, coming down past the mail slot, and wrapping over the spoiler. Paint job seems like the best route for me!

I called B of A first and they said that I had to apply online--so I did. Then I called back (internet loan dept or eloan dept 1.800.721.9654 option 1 ext 5000 spoke to Kenyah) because the application stated it would send me an email with the decision in 2 business days. I said screw that and called B of A back. The agent I spoke to before was really nice and looked up my app--she said the underwriter was looking it over could I hold on for 3 mins. I did--she came back on the phone and said I was approved for the 3.94% for 60 mos. and the amount was $30K or more with allowable 130% of vehicle purchase price--money down is up to me and the dealer--they even waived the $200 loan fee because my dealer is a preferred dealership!...you have to supply your VIN on the app so be ready for that!

She then gave me her pesonal FAX to send her info from the dealer when I go to pick up my car!! Theyare going to send the dealer a check when I send the contract over-- I'm good to go!

My dealer was floored--he said he could only get 5.5% or some rate in that range. Do it on your own and save time and hidden cost to you via a higher rate from the dealer--it's worth the research for sure!

Were you already a B of A customer prior to this?

Yes.

I did business with them in the past where I had a lease ('98) on a car and subsequently did a lease buyout after that lease was over because I wanted to keep the car. I don't have a savings or checking account with them now or haven't had one there in the past either.

They said that they use TRW for your credit report-

-My Fico is 780. I dont know if that has something to do with the rate. My credit history is spotless as well--so good credit is finally paying off!

I got the exact same deal from B of A. As a preffered customer though...my mortgage, my checking and three savings accounts are with them. And the 130% is sweeet because now I can add in the mods I am planning to the loan amount!
