Power stop brake rotors
Going to replace my rotors and not sure what brand to go with.
Are power stop rotors any good? Looking for something similar to oem but possibly cross drilled and slotted. Also will any rotor work with the brembo calipers? |

Sounds like a company played on the name “BREMBO” to increase their marketing a bit. Hope they work out for you.

I'm a big Powerstop fan, went with the vented rotors and carbon ceramic pads.
It will sling the bugs off the front bumper late barking hard into a turn! |

I've had Powerstop on the car for 2 years now with no issues. As for performance, I can't notice a huge difference. With that being said, brake dust is almost non existent compared to OEM and they still look great after 2 years and hard driving. Bedding process is important with the extremes, but well worth the $$.

I was going to try the power stops as I had a pretty bad shake at speed when using moderate pedal input. Had it since the day I got it. I could get them to behave mostly by mashing the pedal a few times doing panic stops and getting the pad buildup cleaned up from rotors but it always came back. I was about to pull the rotors and replace them. I pulled them and they were straight as an arrow and had minimal wear. I chucked them into the sand blast cabinet and blasted the pad surfaces on both fronts. Re bedded the pads and for a few thousand miles I haven’t had any issues at all. That’s my cool story for the day

Those are the ones I was looking into too
They seem to be really good for the price.

I have no issues with mine, very smooth. As mentioned already bed the pads in correctly. I also replaced all my caliper bolts as they are torque to yield. There are many threads here on replacing the bolts or not. I changed them for peace of mind.

I run mine pretty hard when we go run the nascar ovals. The shake was there in daily driving as well but no where near as bad as on the track. I could get them decent enough for daily driving but it’s a bit unnerving when they are shaking at over 100 mph in a 20*+ banked corners.
