I don't know if you remember but when I first posted my excitement on ordering my 2SS back in Feb. you were the one who told me about Joe's sub-forum here and how to ask him about the status...and that it could move from 1100 to accepted and beyond fairly quickly depending on the situation, as had been your experience...and then a week or two later came the announcement of the chip shortage, and then the first of several plant closures, and I was stuck in 1100 hell for months LOL.

Still can't believe the car is finally in my driveway

Of course I remember I sure didn't expect the chip shortage, that was a big wrench, but as you see, the wait was worth it in the end, and you also made a good friend in the process. Keep enjoying your car, Susie

I know im up in canada and you can't see my status. I was hoping you may be able to clarify the response i got from chevy. Order # ZXWWJC

I'm on week 14 and have inquired 3 times. All 3 times i received the response of

"We see your order enterred into the system and it is waiting for acceptance into production. Please check back in 4-6 weeks."

Just curious what code status this may be? Its a 2022 ZL1.

Your order with Bill Pierre? Just curious. They had a vivid orange ZL1 that they wanted 10K over, and didn't want to budge on so I let it go.

Nah. I did chat with Bill Pierre as they had both white & blue 1SS 1LE's that just arrived in stock but they wouldn't come close to MSRP. They offered to meet me half-way when I first enquired on the white one but half-way still meant 4k over! I had a much better experience at Bellevue, who just got an allocation for a 1SS (given constraints) and so with their premium negated by my supplier pricing I'm effectively paying MSRP.

You've done well to get a 2SS allocation in such a short timeframe - nice job!

That was how my interaction with them went - they were REALLY firm in not budging. Honestly I think our massive shortage is coming to an end very soon here. A Blue ZL1 up in Fremont, CA that started at 5K over, is now down to MSRP...nobody seems to be jumping on it like they thought...

And NOBODY is more surprised than I am about my order! I fully expected a 4-6 month wait, but...here we are, just over 2 weeks later and it's already at 3000!

I've been checking the "expected arrival date" on the chevy 2022 inventory page, but it's not showing up there anymore. The car listing has disappeared from my dealership's website as well. Do you have any idea why that is?

Dealerships can remove stuff from there I believe. Several cars I found in my search were thought to be available, and then they'd find them unavailable. SOME opt to keep them there just to get more phone calls/foot traffic. Others who know they are spoken for, remove them
