Rearview Mirror Drops when I'm on bumpy roads - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've had this issue for 3 years now. Damn mirror droops/drops every time I hit a bump in the road.
As far as I can see, there isn't a way to tighten the pivot joints. Just the mount bracket, which is tight as hell.

I'm looking for some real fix for this POS.

I'd just buy another mirror and replace it. Sounds like your has issues holding it's position on the pivot joint.
