Rear seat delete

I found two companies that make a delete kit but are for hardtops only. Is there a convertible version available out there? A google search only netted me those two options. Thanks.

I seriously doubt anyone will make any due to lack of demand.

I'm just curious. You guys with convertibles, why do you want to do the delete? It's generally done for the little bit of weight savings for guys drag racing. But with a convertible, you have far more weight in the mechanism for the top. So I'm not seeing any value. What am I missing?

Back seats in Camaros are for insurance purposes. “It seats 4, not just 2”

I’m putting in a roll bar and harness bar for racing seats which will make the back seats useless so I want them removed to save weight. Yes a convertible is heavier than a coupe, but there’s nothing like experiencing over 900hp with the wind in your face.

Steve Torrance told me the same thing when I asked him about closed canopies at a signing session at an NHRA event a few years back. Except in his case it was 11,000 HP, lol. Hope you find your solution.

If these Camaro came without a back seat, some guys would be asking:
How can I add a rear seat to my Camaro. LOL
