Consider Flowmaster:

Check out the sound clip in my sig...

Lot cheaper too. This with shorty headers to boot (including full installation) for less than either one of those catbacks alone. The setup I have on my LS3 has no drone issues either.

Then again, the Flowmaster 3 inch catback (AMT = American Thunder) system also sounds fantastic. It also sells for 1/3 less than Corsa or Magnaflow. You would have money left over for the CAI or your choice and then some. Good luck.

Ok but I heard alot of ppl saying that you lose power from the flowmasters. Is that true? I have nothing against Flowmaster and I only ask cuz I want the best performance for my car.

So does the majority in this Thread think Corsa sucks, because I thought it sounded best off the video clips, but now am really reconsidering which system to get now.

I think that is whats going on lol cuz I was thinking Corsa but everyone is telling me that there isnt that big of a difference in performance and the MagnaFlow sounds better.

How convenient! These are the two exhaust I plan on going with

So how is the Magnaflow at highway cruising speeds? No drone? I was reading in the Corsa thread where all of the owners was highlighting how the Corsa catback had no drone.

King T, with my custom set-up I hear no drone whatsoever at highway speeds. And mine is the troublesome L99 (AFM drone = none at all that I can tell).

My opinion is that both systems are nice. It comes down to preference in sound. To me Magna flow sounds like a boat motor. Corsa sounds like a Monster that's gargling rocks.

Based on my past experience, Magnaflow needs long tube header to sound right. All by itself, the Magnaflow exhaust comes up a little short. But its prefect with long tube headers.

Corsa - sounds great right out of the box (more aggressive than Magnaflow). But Corsa can become real loud with long tubes. I had 1 7/8 headers and Corsa catback on my 06 GTO and it was NASCAR loud when I started it up in the morning (too loud for my neighbors). It was prefect before my longtubes, but after adding 1 7/8 headers, it was too loud.

That's why I might go with Magnaflow or a similar exhaust for my Camaro. I have long tubes on order and don't want my setup to get too loud.

If I just wanted a catback and I wasn't getting long tubes, then Corsa would probably top my list.

Magnaflow hands down! Want something with some nice old school sound get the "street" setup, and if you absolutely want it balls loud get the "race" setup. Sound/Quality/Price cannot be matched by other catback competitors...I can get it delivered to you for far less than a Corsa setup too! Let's talk folks...see sig. for contact info.
