6th Gen ZL1 1LE 3rd Brake Light on 2014 Camaro SS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After I installed the Hero Taillights the 3rd brake light stood out like a sore thumb and threw off the look of the rear end. So I decided to search for a solution and couldn’t find anything on forums or anything on the internet. I did some research and found out that the 6th Gen Camaros reused the same 3rd brake light as the 5th gens just slightly different. Then I took a risk and purchased a new 2019 ZL1 1LE OEM Smoked Clear 3rd Brake light from Cultrag Performance and just as I suspected this light works with the 14-15 Camaros. Totally worth the investment and risk to put the icing on the cake on my rear end.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but how have these been working for you? I’m thinking about doing the same thing!

Any problems so far? Thinking of doing this, just got the HERO taillights and want the back to match.

No issues whatsoever, almost 2 years and still working great.
