If there were no sign of oil leak when the oil was changed….check oil filter for tightness or maybe the seal on the filter is faulty…?

I agree with valve cover as well as the valve cover bolt rubber gaskets ,as I see oil on top of cover !

If you do replace them, get the OEM ones as some of the "aftermarket" ones don't seal properly, sen that before.

I have had this issue MANY times after an oil change at the dealer with their AC Delco filters, they don't seal sometimes and leak. I get my oil changes for FREE, so that is why I get it done there, plus I get to sit with my tech and chat while he does it. He is a really knowledgeable and good guy. Worked on my baby ever since day 1!!! lol. He does what I can't do..

Yep, these rubber grommets do sometimes crack after a while and oil does seep out from them.

Sirs, let me explain.
Oil changed after using oil flush to clean the system. In next few days I found oil signs coming somewhere from the top, I attached some pictures on the previous page. I washed car from the bottom side and oil signs disappeared for a week. Now I can see a little signs again.

Could it be just valve cover gaskets / grommets or L99 engine has a metal gasket in the middle side of the engine? Could you please advise..
I ordered valve cover gaskets with grommets but doubt about maybe there is an other gasket deeper in engine...

Question

Today I found that oil leaks from the left side cylinder head gasket, from the corner.

At the same time I found that also leaks something like oil cooler... Anybody could help with the needed gasket ? Is it oil cooler leaks or I'm wrong? I attach images

If yes, which one I should replace ? There are 3 types of gaskets in rockauto, "Oval Port", "Center tube; Dual round port" and "Seals Two Pipes".. I belive its a gasket with 4 holes named as "Center tube; Dual round port".
