That sucks. It's one thing to have to decide if you want to fuel up your toys, but fueling your livlihood isn't an option.

Food prices are going to skyrocket as well. No Ukranian exports combined with higher cost of production for commodities.

our leaders will take care of those with kids with food stamps and aid for dependent children.the retirees on SS are gonna take it right in the butt though.staying home all the time and eating ramen noodles is not what i thought retirement would be,but its looking pretty likely.

I know we're the extreme but it'll be proportionate everywhere else.

I'm curious, especially for daily commuters, is there a limit you will not go? Park the Camaro and buy a 'hybrid' to commute? Or just say screw it and SELL?

(I'm retired and mine sits a lot. NO plans to sell)
Like yours mine sits most of the time as well so it's not going anywhere. Besides it gets way better mpg than my Silverado and I have no plans to even let that go. I will admit that I do have some interest in that new Duramax Silverado 1500. But even that is a few years out.

Maybe I should’ve tried that. My supercharger was the complete opposite.

yes redcoats I agree with you. I just retired. got mine up on jacks rebuilding my transmission, clutch etc. guess I'm one of the guys eating ramen. thought it was going to be better than this. we just have to look forward to mid terms, and VOTE. and if anyone says your vote doesn't count tell that to my fellow veterans that are missing parts, spouses, and friends and relatives. they fought so you can vote. anyone thinks your vote doesn't matter walk into your nearest legion hall and talk that crap. one of the first excutive orders was to curtail production, now they are back pedaling complete incompetence in charge. transportation secretary goes on maternity leave while the docks in long beach pile up? didn't know a man could get pregnant. oops. just lucky summer is coming remember cold climates rely on natural gas too prices ate up there also. I'm ordering 200 gal propane tomorrow. there goes my refund. going to lowes use my veterans discount and getting a pallet of kingsford, and 2 cases of lighter fluid and cooking on my new weber. so I can buy gas. just remember to vote in a veto proof congress. best wishes to all my fellow gearheads. we are the only ones with the brains and know how to get through this. the oldman.......

These prices are ridiculous and I don't see gas going back down to what it was prior to the Russian Invasion. These democrats are going to purposely keep the price of gas high to push their electric car agenda.
My 14 SS is paid off and I am strongly considering selling it. $ 30, 000 would take it. Not happy to go this route but I cant afford these gas prices. The car is my pride and joy but a toy. With under 30K miles someone would be getting a great car.

I hear ya on that selling thing, don't think the thought hasn't crossed my mind. I just can't get past the time and money I put into her making her MINE, and what she is to date. Very hard decision.
