schrader clearance

For those who have installed MRR 288's with 10" on the front, AND have brake pads with weights, have you done anything regarding the schrader valve clearance other than simply cut off the weights? I got installed today and see that it's within like a 32nd of an inch, and with pad movement while driving that will be an issue. Seems to have already half unscrewed the cap by touching during first drive.

Get with Paul from PK Auto Design, he is a Vendor/sponsor on the forum and posts in the vendor classifieds section. When I bought my MRR228's he put in some extra short stems that clear the roller skates (weights) on the brake pads. I've been running them for 6 years or so now, maybe 7. lol..

I ended up just cutting the weights. Quicker and simpler than redoing anything else for the moment.

Yea, when I had my M228's Paul had sent me also some of the short valve stems, they looked pretty nice, but there wasn't any provision on them for the TPMS's, so I just cut off my "roller skates".. Done...
