Yes. NHRA rules:

10.0 and slower - Open or Full Face - Snell M2000, M2005, SA2000, SA2005 or various SFI's (which are based on Snell anyway)

9.99 or quicker - Same as above but must be full face.

SA required for supercharged, front engined, open bodied cars and funny cars. (A Camaro is NOT open bodied unless you hacked the top off)

I just made my reservation at the Host Hotel. We still have 30 rooms left. ...stop procrastinating and get a room!!!!

Seriously tho - when we run out, and I'm sure we will - I will entertain any CURRENTLY active duty soldier/sailor/marine/airman who needs a room - I'll go 50/50 with you. Us DoD personnel are used to sharing rooms. I don't need 2 queens and I'm comin solo - so if you need a place to stay and the tent has holes in it, I got an extra bed.

Damn this is gonna be fun!!!!

lol..nope im not the Stig...I do pretty well on road tracks..but the 1320 is my passion...I always bring a few helmets that one may be a bit overkill for this event..lol

Thanks for being willing to share some space. Also folks can get in at the spillover hotel. They still have tons of King beds etc

Don't mean to beat a dead horse, just want to make sure I have this right, IF your car is supercharged you need the SA helmet regardless of time correct??

Not the supercharged you are thinking about Aby. Just get yourself a snell rated helmet you can just order the one that MTI is selling and you will be fine I think it's the 3rd post in this thread
