Yes,quite a bit. That's why you need to specify if it is for a V6 or V8, the lower portion of the bumper is different.

Do you have to worry about these front lip spoilers ripping off at high speeds??

If installed correctly I would say no. Mine has seen very high speeds multiple times and it hasn’t loosened any. They are installed with bolts, washers and lock nuts.

^^^ This. Mine is also installed with nuts and bolts and wide washers to the bottom of the bumper cover. My Camaro has seen a few 140-150 mph "quick runs" on the interstate and no apparent loosening at all, and it is the aggressive Z28 front splitter.
