2013 camaro ss l99 mystery squeak

Just got the car and it has a weird squeak at idle under the hood, coming from drivers side I have a video uploading in the link below thay captures it pretty well, no other mods done besides deleting the rear most mufflers, resonator and h pipes are still on.https://youtu.be/r_iD3kW2phc

Sounds like you have a pitted cam lobe and roller lifter. Seems to always effect cylinder 6 but I've seen others as well. Always the afm cylinders....1,8,4,6

I think i have the same issue :



At first, i also think that the sound comes from under the hood but if you go under the car sound will maybe louder. (between motor and trans)

In france (because i'm french) somebody told me to open the oil fill cap and listen if the noise is louder without the cap. If not it's probably not the roller lifter

Ill do that took itnto a dealership(warranty extended) they said it was the belts put new ones on same issue

Also my isn't constant, you can hear when afm is enabled and when it kicks into afm and put if afm, but when afm is off it doesn't make the noise
