Running engine without a transmission in place
I’ve got the transmission (6L50e) out of my car. Should I be able to start/run the engine without it? Will the ECM keep me from starting/running the engine?

I’m just concerned that the ECM not seeing the transmission control module or shift position indicator will inhibit the start.
