Guys with Car trailer question

Looking at purchasing a MTI 8.5 x20 enclosed car hauler. Has tandem axels equal to 7k lbs
Assuming camaro about 4k.
But Leary of the ramp door.
Any of you had bad luck with a trailer ramp ?

I have the 8.5x24 but I had to take the factory flip over ramp off and make one that was 38” instead of 16” because of the ground clearance. I had an open trailer before this and was much harder to load on due to the height of the trailer.

If you go this route you will need to make some wedges to support the weight of the car. I can send some pics if need be.

Here are some pictures of the ramp. I replaced the factory rubber bumpers with thicker ones. The outside “wedges” are in line with the tires when you pull up on the ramp. If you need anymore pictures let me know.

I have the d rings as well, they were installed when I got the trailer. I added the etrack. I also forgot to add that the extra length on the flap makes it move a lot more when going down the road due to the size difference. I added carbon metal threaded nutsert(1/4x20) and used the same size thumb screws to go through the flap into the main ramp. I can get pics of that when I open the trailer again. Glad to help anyway I can, that’s why I like this forum as there is always someone willing to help. As for the rubber bumpers you can find them at the link below.
