Rainy weekends are no fun!

Yet again, it's another rainy weekend in NC, and with me working out of town most weeks, I look forward to being able to uncover my baby, get her out of the carport and take her out for a cruise, but I really haven't been able to enjoy it that much due to the weather. I've only driven a handful of times since taking delivery on 10/5, and only once to the office. Again, this weekend, she sits in the carport :( and of course, I head out of town for work monday morning with my daily driver, which is supposed to be sunny and low 60s all week!! I'm sure just in time to be a rainy weekend again. I've been depressed today. I miss the Camaro! I might actually get out later tomorrow if it's cleared up any and do a good wash/wax job before I leave town again--that would give me some satisfaction.

I guess it could be worse, I could already have it garaged for the winter like some of you guys in the mountains or up north.

Yeah, I'd guess I'd have to get more used to it up your way, but I don't like the rain to begin with. She won't see a drop of precip. in her lifetime if I can help it (besides the production testing, its trip from the factory and my car washes). That's what my other car is for!

I'm with you brother. Mine will never get wet other than when I wash it. I'll be putting her away for the winter in a few weeks and it's been raining every weekend. NOT HAPPY!

The camaro runs fine in the rain. It's kind of fun to then wash and detail it later. I drove mine down to Florida and ran into some rain. Even though I have splash guards the rear end got dirty.

I'd be more concerned with the salt in the winter.

I haven't even figured out how to use the wipers. Probably never will.

Yea, the sad start of winter is setting in. We just got 20 inches of snow on Wednesday and Thursday. Snow melts quick this time of year but with sand on roads, the threat of paint pitting looms large. My Tacoma does most of the work now.

Out here in NJ/NY rainy season started in April and hasn't stopped.

I know we had almost 40" of rain between April and August. And the last two months weren't too kind to us either.

And it's weird that most of the rain does seem to come on the weekends.

Drive it, it won't melt.

Plus it's been rained on already.
