pinch off the heater hoses with vice grips and see if its the blend door.

What happens when you pinch the heater hoses?

if your air blows cold from both sides its the dreaded blend door.you can read varous blend door threads for different ways to solve it.i think id be going for a valve to turn off the hot water to the heater core if it happened to me.

It's probably low on refrigerant. I would check that first! The blend door either blocks off the opening to the evaporator core, or it blocks the opening of the heater core, or when not in full hot or full cold mixes the two. When it's broken it mixes the two resulting in warm air all the time. So I doubt that's your issue but anytime someone complains of a hvac problem everyone on this forum immediately assumes its a broken blend door.

I have a new issue for you that I’d love your opinion on.

When on vent even turned all the way cold I get warm air no matter the outside temperature, but my a/c blows nice and cold from both sides no issue.

Cabin air filter completely blocked not letting outside air in?

Guess that's possible or maybe but unlikely the seal is deteriorated on the blend door? I have one apart right now changing the door, and I'm looking at it trying to figure how that condition can happen. Just to elaborate on something I said many posts ago about GM changing vendors for this door, I compared the replacement door with the original and although they look exactly the same as for construction, and reinforcement.....the old one is a dull plastic whereas the new one is shiny. Obviously a different material.

So you think it can just need refrigerant? It blows cold but only on the driverside and not the passenger side, and when I turn on the heater it blows hot on both sides & I noticed when I flip the heater on with the ac button on it continues to blows cold until I remove the ac button it starts throwing in the warm air. But today im gonna go get some freon and try the hose clamp thing as well
