Oil pressure below 30

To replace the oil pump the pan has to be dropped right?
This morning the stop engine ! Notification came on and idle is below 30 and fluctuates rapidly.

For a lot of us it’s very common to be running around 27psi or so at hot idle. Never had the stop engine come on because of that. Is “under 30” at cold or hot idle?

Check the gauge/sending unit first.
