JBA Shorties + MRT Exhausts

I want to get the shorties (or the forthcoming long tubes), but want to see how it changes the exhaust and before and after dynos from an unbiased source. I don't want to plunk down about a thousand for headers/exhaust, only to be disappointed.
I know that dyno time is expensive. I'd be willing to donate toward this cause. It would only take a few people at $20 a pop... how about you guys?
I don't mean to be too demanding, but since Scrmng has access to both MRT exhausts, he'd be the logical choice to dyno/video before headers/after headers so we could see the gains and sound changes.

What do you say, John?

while I certainly appreciate the thought and offer, i'll have to respectfully decline... I get dyno time pretty cheap... it's the header install time that has me a bit up in the air... the JBA site says 5 hours to install..

Thought shorties are suppose to be an easy install? Never done them in my life though. Speculation is that version 1.0 of MRT axle back will be louder or distorted perhaps?

I thought specualtion said MRT V1.0 with JBAs would be loud but even deeper than the videos we have seen. My MRT goes on Wednesday and my JBAs should be ordered withing the next few weeks I hope.

I installed headers on my 86 IROC in a couple hours by myself with no problems, but this engine/engine bay may be quite different.

Headers (shorty or long tube) almost always make an exhaust note louder. They often make it deeper as well.
