Had a friend run the older version of the extreme contact sports on his 600whp turbo maro and he told me these tires spun the least without being a strict summer tire or radial, and handled weather changes really nicely.
Let me know how much nicer this newer gen of contact sports handles aggressive and spirited driving. |

They handle very well, as the older ones did. I ran them all the time before I got the 335/30 MPSS's on the rear. Because Conti doesn't make a 335 tire.

I need to try the Nitto NT 05 next. The NT 555 G2 just spin even on a prepped surface. I might have to think about a rear brake change to fit a 15” or 16” rear.

What would be the average per wheel for mounting and balancing? Should you go ahead and get an alignment while the tires are off the car..

I think about 25 bucks or so is the going rate per tire. And, anytime I put new tires on the front, I got the alignment checked to make sure it was still "in spec" so they would wear correctly, plus keeping the pressures correct ALL the time helps a lot..

Hey buddy, one of my buds has the Nitto NT05's on his 2013 whippled up Camaro SS, LS3 car with 683rwhp and says they hook pretty good, but he can still break them loose whenever. He doesn't like them for driving much on the street, get a little moisture and can't drive over 35 mph. Plus I think last time I looked, Nitto wasn't going to make them anymore. And they are noisey picking up all kinds of crap and bouncing it off his rear fenders and underside.
