Need help with drivers window Reg assy problem!

Hi all,
My drivers side window made a loud pop when i rolled it up, and then makes a whirring sound when operating it. It still goes up and down and indexes and auto up still worked. upon removing the motor and reg. assy. i didnt see anything conclusive. when i removed the motor the small nylon gear wasn't broke cracked or anything so im assuming it's in the motor .
Anyway i ordered a complete ACI reg, and motor assy. from Rock auto and installed it, adjusted the window for proper fit. Now when i recalibrated it (open window and hold 5sec ,close and hold 5sec) the Dic warning goes away and the the window autos down, but won't auto up. It will go up but you have to hold the button. It also indexes when you open the door and close the door.
The problem's are that it wont auto up, plus when i restart the car the dic warning is back and i have to do it all again! I've tried removing the #26 fuse ,to no avail and disconnected the battery for 30min, neither worked!

If anyone can shed some light on this ,it shure would be appreciated !

(Edited to say, also the bat is only 1 yr old and was showing 12.65v ! )

At first blush I'm gonna say it's the regulator. However, there is a relearn procedure in the scan tool to properly set up the module. That could be the problem but it's most likely the Chinese regulator you bought. Most everything you get from Rock Auto comes from China and you really do get what you pay for.

Yea thats what I was thinking ,I ordered a ac Delco motor to put in with the old reg. Assy as it looked great. And if that does it send the ACI back. Thank you for the info.
