Alignment
Hey there guys,
I have a 2013 SS to which I've fitted a set of ZL1 replica rims (from MMR) I fitted new Pirelli P-Zero tyres at the same time. Both rear tyres are heavily worn on the inside after only 5k miles; I do drive her "enthusiastically" most of the time but don't do burnouts etc so I'm surprised they haven't lasted longer. A few owners tell me I should get the car aligned in a shop to ZL1 spec to ensure better wear. Any thoughts? And has anyone on here got alignment specs they can share? Over here in the UK tyre/alignment places are not generally conversant with Chevrolet gear. Thanks in advance for any help given. Ed

I use the aggressive street found here;

I just installed new 1LE wheels and Michelin PS4s and replaced my front coilovers. Going in Friday to have it aligned to the ZL1 spec. I can forward you the GM specs for all Camaros I had from years ago. I've had many different alignments done over the years when I tracked my car. Going back to the street friendly settings that are OEM since I don't track anymore. $2000 bucks for PS4s I want then to last.

Same here, when I lowered my Camaro and went with the wider wheels, and offsets, I had them install a ZL1 alignment spec to the suspension, front and back, as the stock SS wheels were pretty narrow, and the aftermarket wheels much wider and moved outward a bit more. No issues with tire wear front of back after 11 years!!

You are welcome. Good luck... I run a 285/35 front tire on a 10.5 wide wheel in the front and a 335/30 tire on a 11.5 wide wheel on the rear. Previous wheels were the MMR -M228 Z28 replica's, 20x10 +23 front with 275/35 tire and 20x11 rear +43 with 315/35 tire.
