After reading all of these I'm glad I left my '10 SS L99 stock. Always get about 16 local
and 24-25 on the Interstates if little traffic. After 13 years I don't really check anymore.

With the exception of exhaust, mine is bone-stock as well and I have never seen anything higher than 17.8 mpg no matter where or how I drive. I'm beginning to think it's a sending unit issue.

I got around 24 driving all interstate at 80 with the car stock. That's with 5 miles or so of driving in town and then running highway until I needed fuel.
After I turned of AFM off, added headers and CAI, I got around 22-23 doing the same trip. Added 3.73 gears and I get 21 ish. Any full throttle acceleration and it goes down fast. I still get around 14-15 in town if I'm not idling a lot at stop lights. |

I'm now concerned about my fueling. I'm expecting around 475 whp should I be considering a fuel pump and injectors?

You've got some headroom left. When my car was around similar power I was about 75% injector duty cycle and would hold a solid 50psi I pressure into the 7000+RPM range. With the new setup making 550whp I was worried about running out of injector so I've got some 850s in there now. Still hangs at right about 50psi on fuel pressure. The 850s are about 40% duty cycle, which tells me the stock 440cc injectors would have likely got the job done.

That doesn't sound too bad! With my current set up I'm getting about the same thing.

Dang...I guess I need to quit worrying about my mileage. I'm averaging 19.8 with mixed driving and 5-10 minutes of idle time every morning. Long trips I've seen it up closer to 24mpg.
Granted I'm completely stock aside from a muffler delete |

If I babied her, with the A/C off (I don’t actually have A/C), in South Texas, I could eek out about 3 mpg… on C-16 race fuel…
On a mile long full send, I burned through 5 gallons of fuel… I admit, she was kinda peppy… and thirsty… 417 CI, Solid Billet Cam, 10.5 : 1 compression ratio… roughly 27-35 lbs of boost… 225 lb/hr injectors…

The most important measurement is SPG - smiles per gallon. Ain't seen a Prius touch my car for that yet!
