I have been loving it from afar. I have not even driven it yet. Simply too hot outside. Still well over 100 after 9 at night and hitting 114 during the day. I'm going to get up early Saturday when it's only about 85 at 6 a.m. and go for a top down ride across the desert.

I can't even enjoy sitting in it in the garage because when it's 114 outside, the garage hits 125+ inside. The door is closed all day when I'm at work and the sun beats on the door from noon on.

Holy cow that's hot. At least you'll be able to drive it in December when mine is locked away for the winter.

Yeah, I left Oregon several years ago, partly because of the weather. Gray, damp and dismal much of the year. I love it here in the desert, but then I have AC in the house and a 15,000 gallon pool in the back to beat the heat...grin..

Sounds like paradise my camaro friend, we can drive all year round here as top north island in NZ as no snow, just wet winters!! Long summers for driving the girl and burning up the fuel -

We do want to visit your absolutely gorgeous country. My lady and I made it down to the Cooks for 10 days several years ago and met two other couples from NZ that were just great people all the way around.

We may even make it next year if all works out. Maybe rent a rag top Camaro and tour both islands! Grin...
