Drove it like she owed me money.

No rain for many months with stupid amounts of heat, now days of rain and cooler temps.
Not complaining tho, God knows we sure need it.

Slogged out to the shop and reassured the Strawberry she wasn't ever gonna get wet and dirty. Adjusted the cover and gave her a little pat on that fat ass beforing heading off to work.

Finally after 3 years, installed the yellow bowties I wanted.

the rally yellow on these cars is just the best yellow ever.
of all my muscle cars i got the most thumbs up when i had my yellow gen5.
they just stand out amongst all the boring coloured cars.

Looks great! I love the matched appearance of the bow ties.

I did mine in white shortly after getting my 13 SS. I'm not a fan of that gold color. I masked it off and painted them as the vinyl decals I bought did not work out very well.

I don't know that there's much difference, but I did one of my 69 GTOs in 2005 Mustang Lightning Yellow a few years ago. I love that look. My son-in-law hates the color but I think it makes a car really pop.

went to leave this morning and the battery gave out. got one. tried to do the "better" ground technique and when I went to remove the ground strap to the trunk, the bolt snapped. drilling out the old one would have been just too long an ordeal. so I drilled a new hole close to the old one, used one of the location pegs for the strap, cleaned up that area and used washers and a nylon inset nut on the bottom of the car. back up and running. based on some of the recommendations on here, got the Walmart battery. fit perfect, had the vent hole for the hose.

Totally agree with you Camaro fanboy, the yellow HAS to be right and I got lucky that GM got it right. I love the yellow but the again, I love the Camaro Gen5 . Here's a website depicting the different Camaro yellows http://paintref.com/camaro/yellow_camaro.shtml

Thanks Danial . I agree that gold color sticks out but I guess that's the point. Yeah, the vinyl decal thing doesn't work for me and if you were able to paint them yourself, you saved a lot of money. Good job!!
