Are blue led lights over the rear license plate illegal in Michigan?

Yes, any blue lights on a civillian car is verboten.

i don't know about MI, but some states allow accessory lighting to be blue or red so long as they don't flash

Maybe they are 14k lights. White with the blue tint

Since there are 2 of them... use one for your Dome light and the other for the trunk.

They buy 2 of the white LEDs for your plate... they look cool too.
