Traction Control Switch

C5 Family, Can someone tell me why is so difficult to find a replacement TCS for my 2011 SS. I took the liberty to order one online and when I got it, the connections port was facing the wrong direction and it lacked the number of pins that matched the ones that came from the factory on my car. I initially chalked it up as a Chinees/Taiwan fake rip-off.
DISCLAIMER: I went to 2 Chevy dealerships- One of them tells me that engineers that print the information in the catalog put in the wrong part number and it has to researched. (This is the parts services rep way of blowing me off).
Has anyone else had this problem? I am open for any and all suggestions.

Most GM parts have a part number either cast, stamped or stickered on them.

When you say online where did you buy it from?

Hey there, if you need an original GM one, I have one out of my 2011 SS/RS. I took it out when I ordered a custom painted one years ago from River City Creations when they were still in business. Let me know and I can send it to you, it is just sitting on my parts desk in my parts room..

Hey there, your TC switch is on it's way! And I included the 12V access port cover that is right next to it on the console, in case you use yours and break the cover or spring. Mine has never been used at all, took it out also when I bought a custom painted one. Sent them USPS.
