Ground near engine fusebox

Hi, I need to find an easy place to hook up a ground wire near the engine fuse box for LED lights. Any suggestions?

There is a 2 gauge ground wire right below the engine fuse box.

Follow the ground bolted to the front of the passenger head. That is the one that runs near the fuse box I believe. You really can't miss that fat black cable.

Some people don't know the car frame is used as a big negative-ground power carrier. The only exception to this I know of is a 1940s tractor and one or two old cars that had the positive connection going to the frame.
You can use any metal object, not plastic, that attaches to the frame with screws or bolts. Something that takes a lot of power needs to be attached to the frame with a larger wire like the starter. LED lights don't use much power so a small metal screw going to a fender or something else like the engine block or bracket would be fine.
If someone is totally unfamiliar with electricity and this doesn't even make sense they shouldn't be doing any electrical work on their cars and get someone else who knows about it to do the work.

The fat black ground cable you mention (it looks like a pigtail) that’s bolted to the passenger side front head is not where the ground cable in the fuse box pic is connected. The fuse box cable ground is connected somewhere on the bottom of the passenger side block.

As I get older I take the basics for granted and forget the younger guys are just learning.
Be gentle, patient, and help.
When all else fails point and cuss.

Daughters boyfriend just got taught on how to change the oil and filter.
